hey guys,
just wondering does anyone know anything about the cvd requirements for hong kong? Cathay Pacific have a cadet pilot scheme which sounds inviting but i've no idea about the regulations in Asia. Would it be similar to europe or would they have practical testing like FAA or CASA? I had a good search around the net but couldn't find much. If anyone knows anything could they let me know. Thanks again,
Niall

Hi Niall,

I am also trying to find info regarding the colour vision standards of HKCAD. From my understanding, results from the Giles Archer, Holmes-Wright, Edridage-Green or Farnsworth Lanterns are acceptable. However, some members of Pprune have recently posted that CX has adopted the use of the new CAD test. I am not sure if the HKCAD accepts the result from the FAA OCVT & medical flight test. I got a feeling that the HKCAD views each application individually and determines whether they should issue a CLASS 1 medical to the applicant. Please let us know if you are able to obtain more info.
Cheers
